Embrace Cooperation Ltd

A non-profit organisation with headquarters based in Brixton, London promoting youth placement, teacher / educator exchange schemes as well as Personal Development workshops.

Started as Embrace Unlimited – a volunteer organisation in 2000 and since October 2004 operating as a youth-led company under the name Embrace Cooperation Ltd.

Our team predominately consists of previous beneficiaries who carry on with the spirit of adventure and discovery within the scope of safe and professional placement. Through the experience and knowledge of staff and volunteer, Embrace Cooperation Ltd can offer an excellent standard of training and placement schemes tailor-made for organisations.

Since 2004 Embrace has also expanded into other areas including community projects involving renewable energy, photography, environmental conservation, corporate volunteering, gardening/horticulture projects and school eco/nature projects.

Our first environmental project Natural History of Streatham Common began in 2007 when Embrace received a Heritage Lottery Fund grant to run a community project promoting the natural heritage of Streatham Common.

Our second environmental project was a one year Heritage Lottery funded project called Embrace Woodlands! which started in October 2009, Embrace Cooperation Ltd project ran this project in partnership with Trust for Urban Ecology (TRUE).

Our next environmental project was Embrace the Wild! in Lesnes Abbey Wood, Bexley, London.
